Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 7/5/2021
It's July! This year continues to fly by as we continue to be blessed with good fishing. The fish may be feeling a bit of a hangover today from the weekend as it felt like there were more anglers out fishing than we have ever seen. Good conditions kept everyone happy that we have heard from. So looking forward to the week ahead we anticipate the smallmouth fishing to remain strong until at least Wednesday. Tropical storm Elsa is headed our way and we are uncertain about how much rain we may receive Thursday into Friday. Right now we are only looking at 70% chance of showers with a possible thunderstorm so we may just receive a glancing blow. A good few inches of rain would help refresh the mountain streams and spring creeks but may also blow out the larger rivers. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates later this week on the storm development. Nick brings us the forecast this week to help you plan for success!
