Our fly shop, located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, has been operating for more than 20 years. We have a retail location in Harrisonburg, VA, an online store, and Orvis Endorsed guide service and fly fishing school and now we are bringing the Mossy Creek Fly Fishing magic to you!
The Mobile Fly Shop is a well merchandised show room stocked with the everything from the essentials to get started, hard to find items, as well as the best gear from the best manufacturers in the industry. We cater to those who are curious about fly fishing but have never picked up a rod while also serving experts that do not have a local fly shop.
Our Mobile Fly Shop offers a menu of experiences that can include any of the following(some experiences may change seasonally, fly tying and Iron Fly Challenge will likely be included in our fall and winter schedule):
- free casting demos
- free fly tying demos
- expert advice on where to fish, how to approach different fishing scenarios,
- outfitting folks properly, fitting them in waders and boots, and find the right rod and reel
- showing award winning fly fishing films
- an ‘Iron Fly Challenge’ where Iron Chef meets fly tying, with participants competing for prizes by putting their fly tying skills to the test.
