Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 9/3/2024

Nick brings us the forecast this week. We are in a cooling pattern right now after the last cold front came through over the weekend. Temps will be in the 70's during the day with sunny weather and relatively light winds. We anticipate good trout fishing, bass fishing, and musky fishing as the week progresses. Keep an eye on local USGS gauges for streamflow information as the rain recently brought up some streams in the area while leaving others a bit below average flow. Water temps will be safe for trout fishing with nights in the 40's. We still have a bunch of damselflies, dragonflies, and our annual cicadas are starting to die off. Big bass will continue to look up for a meal off the surface while we have sunny days and clear water! The musky fishing will be good as river temps drop below 75 degrees. Target the morning hours when water temps are cooler for the short term and once river temps are safely in the 60's it will be go time! Check out the video for all the details this week!
