Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 3/21/2022
Brian brings us the fishing forecast from the Shenandoah River. As the weather warms up all the fish in our rivers and lakes begin to perk up. Water temps will jump a bit into Tuesday but rain and overcast weather will return mid week. Trout anglers looking for a big fish should be prepared to fish in the rain on Wednesday. Mild, overcast, rainy weather could bring out those giant browns looking for a big meal. Rain could bump up water flows on the larger rivers. We will update conditions on our social media channels in the event some streams are offline from high or stained water. Reports have been solid from our brook trout streams. There were a lot of caddis hatching today. We saw our first yellow stoneflies. and Quill Gordons are still around.
