Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 9/22/2025
Nick brings us the forecast this week. Keep a close eye on the weather forecast, the radar, and the tropical updates. We have a few possible tropical storms that are heading towards the mid Atlantic that may bring us some weather. The good news is we have some overcast and rainy weather pretty much every day starting Tuesday into the weekend. Rainfall will be super helpful for streamflow and to help with how spooky the fish have been lately. Falling leaves on the larger rivers on breezy days can bring about some issues as the annual leaf hatch has now in full effect. Calm days will be much easier to manage! Carp, musky, and bass are our primary target right now along with fishing the spring creeks. Hopefully we will have a big shot of rain or a weather pattern change ahead to help fill our streams with water for the fall and winter season! Check out the video for where to go this week!
