Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 3/7/2022
Brian brings us this weeks forecast. It is currently gusting to 50mph outside with some spitting rain hitting the windows. It does not look like we are going to get a bunch of rain this week but we might get enough to bump flows in the brook trout streams mid week. Currently the weather and waters have warmed up a bit. Insects are starting to hatch and fish are getting more active by the day. We had a group of 8 anglers out on the spring creeks this afternoon braving the wind gusts. Be sure to have plenty of streamers on hand for Wednesday and Thursday when we will have blanket overcast and calm weather! The reports were great with a lot of action from Mossy, Beaver, and Smith Creek. Once the wind dies down a bit we will be back out fishing for bass and musky. It is looking like things will cool off a bit mid week but the wind will be calm by Wednesday.
