Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 8/11/2025
Nick brings us the forecast this week. We hope everyone enjoyed the cooler weather last week and the beautiful weekend! Hot weather is back with temps in the upper 80's just about every day this week. Trout anglers need to watch water levels up in the mountains as many of our streams are now at summer levels but still flowing cool for now. Afternoon thunderstorms this week could help keep flows strong for good fishing. Bass anglers need to watch the afternoon heat and the thunderstorms it could produce. Water levels continue to drop, clarity improving, and the topwater bite is picking up. Smallmouth, largemouth, and carp are on the menu for anglers fishing the South Fork with us this week.
