Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 11/22/2021

Nick brings us the forecast this week. Expect very cold nights with temps in the 20's with highs in the 40's. We will see temps near 60 just on Thanksgiving Day. Water levels are in great shape just about everywhere right now. DWR has stocked our favorite local fisheries. Lakes- Elkhorn, Hearthstone, Hone Quarry, Briery Branch, and Switzer are fishing well. North River DH, Back Creek DH, Jackson Special Reg, Spring Run, Bullpasture, Cowpasture, and South River are all in good shape. Beaver Creek has been off the charts good lately. Mossy has been giving up a few big browns lately. BWO's have started popping in the afternoon hours. Overcast calm days ahead should be good for spotting snouts sipping bugs. If you need any gear, we have never been more full for the fall season than we are now!
