Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 1/10/2022
Brian brings us this weeks forecast. We are looking at cold and windy weather early this week with some mild weather mid week. Cold weather and the possibility of more snow is on the way for the weekend. The snow and recent snowmelt has helped our local streams and rivers. Flows are still below average but at least the larger drainages are looking much better. DWR should continue to stock your favorite streams. Back Creek and the DH section were stocked last week. The Tye, Cowpasture, Spring Run, Bullpasture, and Jackson have all been stocked in the past few weeks. If you aren't much for fishing in the cold weather now is a great time to stock up on flies or check out a fly fishing show. We will be at the VA Fly Fishing Festival this coming weekend in Doswell! You won't believe the inventory and deals we are bringing to the show. We hope to see ya there!
