Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Report 1/6/2022
Andy brings us the forecast this week from the Shenandoah River. It is cold, breezy, and we have more snow and wintry weather ahead. Thursday night we could see another 3-5 inches on top of what is left over from earlier this week. Sunday we have wintry mix and rain with milder weather that could flood us out for next week. We will update on social media daily as we have changes in the weather. Water levels are improving slightly with the recent weather. We anticipate a major change as all this snow melts along with a pulse of rain on top. Mix that with more temps in the single digits and teens at night next week and highs hovering around freezing fishing is looking to be tough. As Andy points out in the video, it may be time to really focus on tying some flies, combing through your gear, and getting a head start on prepping for the spring season that is only 2 months away!!
