Mossy Creek Fly Fishing 12/15/2021
Brian brings us this weeks fishing forecast. We have been enjoying the temperatures in the 50's and 60's lately. Water levels are low and clear everywhere now. The next 10 days is not showing much relief as it is not looking like we are going to get much measurable rainfall. Trout anglers will need to use stealthy tactics on the local rivers and streams. Musky and bass anglers will need to do the same as the water is 'air' clear everywhere. DWR has recently stocked Hone Quarry, Briery Branch, Hearthstone, Elkton, and Braley in the past week. The stillwater fisheries have been fishing well. Electric motors can be used on Elkhorn and Hearthstone. We will be sticking to fishing Mossy Creek, Beaver Creek, Susie Q Farm, Spring Run, Bullpasture, Jackson, Back Creek, and the Jackson Tailwater until water levels bump back up.
