Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 4/4/2022

Brian brings us the fishing forecast for the week ahead. Things are looking wet with upwards of an inch of rain into Wednesday with a chance of rain through the rest of the week. Reports over the weekend were quite good from the mountains to the spring creeks to the larger freestone streams. There weren't many reports on the smallmouth front as it has still been very windy out. Hopefully this pulse of rain will bump up flows nicely for the short term and we have our fingers crossed the wind will start to die down for everyone. Keep an eye on the local forecast and the USGS gauges this week. We will do our best to post updates on the social media channels if anything becomes unfishable. This would be a great time to get your streamer rods out and toss the big flies in the rain and on the overcast days!
