Mossy Creek Fly Fishing Forecast 7/19/2021
The hot and dry spell continues! Not much has changed since last week. We haven't really received any significant rainfall outside of some localized thunderstorms. The South Fork spiked up and was slightly stained 1 day last week. The threat of afternoon thunderstorms has gone away this week. We might see some rain later this week. The tailwaters and spring creeks are producing some technical but rewarding trout fishing. The warmwater rivers are our primary action zones right now. The low clear water makes for some exciting sight fishing but also can make the large fish weary. Now is a great time to stalk catfish and carp with a fly! Andy breaks down this weeks forecast. Stay hydrated and cool!
