Beginner Fly Fishing Class
Our Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing School holds classes on private waters minutes from
our shop in Harrisonburg. During our 4 hour class the use of rods, reels, and lines
is explained; choosing equipment to match different kinds of fishing (lake, river,
and salt water) is also covered. You will learn all about fly selection as well
as leaders and knots. Then it's on the water for in-depth casting instruction, catching
fish, and having fun.
Classes are private. All equipment is furnished. If you haven't purchased an outfit
yet, it is suggested that you hold off buying any tackle until after the class when
you will be better prepared to make an informed decision.
