We're Brian & Colby Trow, and we opened Mossy Creek Fly Fishing in Harrisonburg Virginia in 2003. For the past 8 years we have been working hard to offer the best products and services to our customers and clients. Our success has been attributed to our honest, hardworking, and talented crew of shop staff and guides. It is our goal to continue to improve, restore, and enhance the fishing in our area as well as provide anglers with the best possible fly fishing experience in Virginia!
James and Shenandoah Rivers
The Shenandoah and James Rivers are at great levels right now and the musky fishing has been pretty consistent. We are fishing big profile flies right now on full sinking lines. Our guides are available to put you on your next freshwater beast! Fish with confidence with Virginia's most experienced and largest freshwater guide service!
Mountain Brook Trout Streams
Recent rainfall has really helped keep water levels running at average flows this winter up in the mountains. Reports have been good all through the year and we have a few strong year classes that should allow for another good season for big brookies in the spring.
Susie Q Farm is open and has been booked almost every day. Fishing has been excellent! Give us a call to book a day in the solitude of one of the Valley's best limestone spring creeks. Mossy Creek, Beaver Creek, South River Upper, Spring Run, and Buffalo Creek all have good water flow right now and temps are perfect for good fishing.
Managed Trout Water
