Virginia Fly Fishing Guide Services

Our shop has the most active fly fishing guide service in Virginia. The guide staff works very well together and are constantly on the water to make sure everyone knows what is happening on the water. We all communicate daily to ensure each of our clients will have the most success possible. All of our guides are friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable anglers that have studied the local waters for years. We offer half and full day guided trips on our local spring creeks and rivers for trout. We offer our trout fishing trips year round as long as the weather permits. Peak trout season begins in March and continues through mid June. The summer trout fishing can be great especially on the spring creeks as long as water flows are sustained. Many anglers enjoy fishing through the winter as the weather can be mild and fishing pressure is almost non-existent. From March-September our guides can be found on the Shenandoah and James Rivers with our clients on float trips for smallmouth, largemouth, carp, and musky. The smallmouth fishing is typically best from April through September while the musky fishing is best from May through February.
