Paint is flying and the floors are scheduled to be finished early next week if all goes well. What is next? Fixtures…lots and lots of fixtures. Apparel racks are awaiting installation and are taking up a very large warehouse. Thousands of pounds of metal and wood will be going up on the walls in the next 2 weeks. One of the largest fly rod racks we have seen is currently being built along with a large custom reel display. We have dozens of large trees about to arrive to be planted along the property and we will quite literally be getting dirty with some massive landscaping projects. We have been overwhelmed with inquiries as to when the new shop will open. We hope to transition to the new location in late May and look for a grand reopening date late in June or July.
Below is a bit of a photo journal of what we have been doing recently. We have been working around the clock to bring the most unique fly shop to the mid Atlantic. Check out what we have been up to! Enjoy!
Paint is complete in the new Mossy Creek Classroom!
The classroom has been wired and lighting and TV are about to be installed!
Paint is up and the office is almost complete. We already love our new LED lights.
The kitchen is painted top to bottom and the new cabinets and appliances are being installed!
20 feet of cabinetry is being covered in rough cut for the new rod rack!
Cabinet doors sealed, coated, and drying before instal.
Large cabinets in production to house all of our fly rod tubes.
22′ high ceilings and large windows let in a lot of natural light into our main tackle room.
The last bits of wall have been primed. The last coats of paint are about to be applied! The finish line is in sight!!
Stay tuned for more photos as we set up the fixtures!
