New Shop Update

Mossy Creek 106c

Wow, what a couple months it has been! Demo began on the new Mossy Creek Headquarters in late January and it feels like the project has been moving at lightspeed ever since. We have new plumbing, new HVAC, completely new wiring, and we are about to have some new fresh lighting and paint up on the walls and ceiling. Most of our sidewalks have been poured and our new parking lot is about to be paved. Trees are being purchased this week for the massive landscaping undertaking we are about to begin. The new store is getting closer and closer to becoming a reality!

Below is a bit of a photo journal of what we have been doing recently. We have been working around the clock to bring the most unique fly shop to the mid Atlantic. Check out what we have been up to! Enjoy!

Our fly rod show room has super high ceilings and will have quick access to our test casting area outside.

The storefront glass is in place and looking great!

Step on up to the bar! Reclaimed rough cut will be a theme throughout the shop. This unit will hold our line spooling machine where you can pick your favorite backing and backing colors for custom spooled reels.

We are using all of the wood from the demolition of various parts of the house in our fixtures and shelves. Here are some of the ceiling slats that ran across the rafters. This old live edge heart pine wood makes awesome shelves when cleaned up!

200 year old heart pine cleaned up and made into T-shirt shelves! Keeping the history of our building alive throughout the space!

The parking area has been built up, graded, and crushed. It is ready for asphalt.

New hat and apparel displays! We think this stuff looks great and it is so much fun to put together.

Many thanks to Mossy Creek Cabinet Company for giving us the right tools to get the job done!

The 1960’s Ford pickup about to get the chop! You will find the tailgate in an appropriate spot in the new store!

Stay tuned for more photos from the interior once a bit more detail work is completed!
