Mossy Creek Fly Fishing is proud to support the Virginia Fly Fishing Festival for our 11th year and we are excited about this year’s event and hope you will come and enjoy this special opportunity to see the best in fly-fishing right here in the Valley.

Here are just some of the fantastic things that will be taking place this weekend:

-Meet and learn from fly-fishing’s legends Lefty Kreh and Bob Clouser.

-Need a casting tune up? Dusty Wissmath and Ed Jaworowski will get you on the right track!

-Is fly tying your thing? Mossy Creek’s own musky guide Shane Maybush will be tying up some of his favorite fly patterns and so will legendary deer hair master Pat Cohen.

-Want to learn about tenkara style of fly-fishing? Mossy Creek’s own tenkara guide and instructor Tom Sadler will be in our booth and on the water showing you the key to this simple form of fly-fishing.

-Want to learn about the best new products on the market? Industry reps from major brands like Orvis and Patagonia will be there to answer all your questions.

-Are you in the market for a new rod? Mossy Creek and other vendors will have plenty of rods available to test drive at the casting pond or down along the banks of South River!

-Curious about how to catch monster smallmouth, musky, trout, and carp? Colby Trow will be giving a presentation on fly fishing the Shenandoah Valley and the Mossy Creek guide crew will be available at the booth to answer all of your questions.

-Want to know what is going on with fishing conservation in Virginia? Talk to the folks from Trout Unlimited who do the best conservation work in the Valley and around the state.

-Need a fishing license? Stop by and see the folks from the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

-Want to do more than fish, then stop by and learn more about great non-profit organizations like Project Healing Waters or Take Me Fishing!

Fly Fishing Shows are an exciting and important part of the industry. We appreciate everyone that supports the show and we look forward to seeing you this weekend!
